Russwood Ltd is eighteen!

This year has brought Russwood to the age of majority. Russwood Ltd began life when Station Sawmill was opened in 1990. The last eighteen years have changed the site almost beyond recognition with the addition of a larger sawill, storage facilities, timber treatment plant, a planing mill and a timber-clad (of course!) office.
The company’s steady growth over the years now means that the workforce has outgrown the office, and Russwood has aims to build new premises at Station Sawmill in the near future. However, before this, 2009 will bring a new drying shed and a plant to allow painting of our new Accoya modified timber product. Watch this space for further developments.
Beginning with one sawmill and three staff, the company has grown into an established and well-respected timber supplier with twenty-three staff. Russwood may well be eighteen, but, we hope, not yet fully-grown.
