Sika flooring adhesives
Sika provide a wide range of flexible adhesive products which enable you to affix your Russwood floor to the sub-floor, giving a secure bond whilst enabling natural seasonal movement. We recommend the use of the SikaBond range, as opposed to other flexible adhesive products, as it provides a highly durable bond, adheres to a broad variety of materials, provides shrink free hardening and is solvent free.

Flooring Nails
These nails have wide heads which give optimum hold, enabling you to firmly affix your floor to the sub floor. If you plan to use this method we would recommend secret nailing through the tongue of the board using a flooring gun and 50mm serrated flooring nails.

Alufoam
Alufoam provides a barrier between the flooring and the sub floor, allowing the floor to float. It can be used on top of a solid sub floor to level any small variations in height and also to reduce contact sound.

X-Pro(TM) Tack Plus Adhesive Underlay
An adhesive mat underlay. The floor is adhered to the underlay, rather than the subfloor, creating a "floating" floor - No need for screws, nails, glue or clips!
