Timber Cladding / Stainless Steel Nails

Stainless steel nails

Russwood offers a wide range of stainless steel cladding nails, all of which are suitable for use with our Western Red Cedar, Oak, Accoya, Frake, Siberian Larch and Scottish Larch cladding boards.

The benefits of all of our selected nails are as follows;

  • Stainless steel offers inherent corrosion protection, minimises bending and reduces splitting
  • Annular ring shank threads ensure that the boards do not cup, the nail heads do not pop and the nails can be driven flush without crushing the surrounding wood
  • Diamond patterned/diffracted heads ensure a better blend with the wood grain, diffract sunlight and enable superior paint adhesion

We would always recommend that you select a nail which meets the above criteria, particularly with regard to the material, as the coating on galvanised or coated steel screws can be damaged during driving, resulting in unsightly rust staining.
