Decking / Scotlarch
Scottish Larch is a very strong robust wood. Our graded Scotlarch® is selected from the best quality timber and is environmentally friendly being sourced within 100 miles of our sawmill.
Scotlarch® is the registered trade name for Russwood's selected heartwood of Scottish-grown European Larch, giving you the assurance of a consistently-graded, high-quality product.
Larix Decidua has long been used for decking in North Europe, and is increasingly used for this purpose in the UK, where it supplies naturally-durable decking, which is FSC certified and locally sourced with 100 miles of the saw mill.
In Scotlarch® we have two options:
Naturally Durable Scotlarch®
If the sapwood is excluded it can be used untreated for decking and will last many years with minimal maintenance, in addition it will outlast most common softwood decking traditionally sold in the UK.
