Flooring Case Study / Touched by Scotland

Touched by Scotland was established to promote and support local artisans in the North-East of Scotland. In two years, the business has grown to become known as the place to find unique handcrafted goods. Over 300 artists display and sell their work at the gallery near Oyne, with more than two-thirds being based inScotland.

Robin Baird and Jan Hobbs wanted to use a natural flooring product and combine it with underfloor heating. They were initially concerned that wood flooring would not be compatible with this type of system, but were soon reassured that Russwood’s 189mm Multiplank engineered boards would be perfect for this situation. After comparing our samples with other engineered floorboards Jan told us “Russwood’s product was visibly the best quality.”
