What makes Russwood flooring different?

Long lengths compared to floors supplied by other companies. 80% of our boards are 1.7m or longer. Wide widths; we supply up to 220mm. Our flooring is 20mm thick, compared to 18mm which is often standard. Our flooring is tongue and grooved on all four sides, greatly reducing wastage when laid on battens.

Can you advise me on the best way to lay my floor?

Can you lay flooring for me?

We do not lay flooring, however we can offer full technical advice and support to assist you or your joiner through out the laying process, we can also recommend approved contractors for floor laying.

What is the moisture content of your flooring?

Our flooring is supplied with a moisture content of 8-10%.

Where does your Oak come from?

All our Oak is supplied from renewable P.E.F.C sources in France. This is the European equivalent of FSC – Forestry Stewardship Council- certification.

Can I use your timber with under floor heating?

Under floor heating can be used in conjunction with solid wood flooring. We recommend discussing this option with us prior to timber selection to enable us to best advise you. See also our Guide to Fitting and Fixing.
