Natural Pine

Russwood supplies unfinished Northern Swedish and Maritime Pine floor boards. This beautiful, yet economic solution provides a softwood floor at low cost.

We supply unfinished Pine flooring in three widths; 112mm, 140mm and 195mm.

Our 140mm and 195mm wide Pine boards are supplied in lengths of 2m and are 21mm thick, while our narrow 112mm Northern Swedish Pine boards come in longer lengths, up to 4.8m and are 21mm thick.

The 140mm and 195mm Pine is a high quality Maritime Pine from France and is PEFC certified (this is the European equivalent of FSC – Forestry Stewardship Council- certification).

Brushed Pine

Russwood supplies Pre-finished Pine flooring in 140mm and 195mm wide, 21mm thick boards. Pine, especially the new brushed range, oiled with Osmo Hardwax oil, produces a very special floor at a pleasingly low cost.

Our boards are supplied in lengths of 2m.

The Pine is a high quality Maritime Pine from France and is PEFC certified (this is the European equivalent of FSC – Forestry Stewardship Council- certification).

Our brushed pine boards create a very special floor. The surface of the softer spring wood is removed more than the harder summer wood, meaning there will be a variation of a millimetre or so between the two surface types when brushed. This makes for a beautifully textured surface which just asks to be walked on in bare feet!

The boards are pre-finished with Osmo Hardwax oil. Osmo produce a wide variety of Hardwax oils in an array of beautiful colours. Wax oiling is preferable to lacquering, and Osmo is recognised in architectural and professional floor-laying circles as a very high quality, long-lasting product with high environmental standards.

Fantastic protection

Osmo oil forms a protective layer over wood, meaning that floors treated in this way are resistant to spills because any liquid simply beads on top of the board.

All this means that Russwood brushed pine pre-finished boards are a beautiful to look at, easy to maintain, a treat to walk on, and all at fantastic value.
