Flooring / Your Floor… Your Choice!

We hope this guide will help you think about some of the key questions when considering buying a new oak floor. When choosing a new floor there are 6 questions to consider to help you make the right choice. These vary from what it looks like to the more technical aspects.

1. Character or Prime?

Do you want a clean look with few knots and little grain figuring or a more rustic, character look with a lot of figuring and knots?

5. Pre finished or unfinished

Our pre finished floors come ready to use and are finished with Osmo Hardwax Oil in a range of colours. We recommend the use of Hardwax oils as a finish for your floor as they look natural and are easy to maintain. We also supply unfinished floors which can be finished with your choice of finish, by either yourself or your joiner. We sell a selection of oils in a variety of colours to finish your own floor.
