Our locations

Our office roles are based in Newtonmore or Glasgow, while all of our production roles are located in Newtonmore at our state-of-the-art facilities.

Newtonmore

Situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Newtonmore and the surrounding villages offer a fantastic place to live. Just a mile and a half off the A9, Newtonmore is ideally located for accessing a wide range of amenities and activities. The railway passes through Newtonmore, with the train station right outside our office.

The local area is a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with walking, cycling, fishing, golf, canoeing, skiing, climbing and just about any other outdoor activity you can think of available nearby. We consider ourselves very lucky to have such an adventure playground on our doorstep! If you are more of an indoor person, there’s a cinema at Macdonald Aviemore Resort and plenty of great cafes, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy.

Glasgow

Our Glasgow office is located in the vibrant Merchant City area, home to our Specification Team, as well as members of our Sales and Marketing teams. It’s just a 10-minute walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station and surrounded by a wide selection of cafés, bars and restaurants — a perfect spot for city living and working.

Training & development

Russwood is committed to the training and development of all our employees to enable them to achieve their maximum potential. We aim to provide training opportunities which include an induction programme for all new employees to assist them into their new role, and a progressive training and development scheme to enable everyone to develop relevant skills and acquire knowledge to underpin their current role and career aspirations. We regularly review our level of investment in staff training and development to ensure that adequate resources are being provided, and also that training and development activity is delivering a benefit to both employees and Russwood.
