Meet Maggie

Maggie Catlin is an Architectural Liaison Technician at Russwood, where she supports architects and contractors with technical advice and timber specification guidance. As part of the Architect Liaison team, Maggie helps ensure that material choices align with both the design vision and practical build requirements.

With a background in Environmental Management, Maggie began her career in construction through an internship with a sustainable architecture social enterprise in Portugal, where she worked on social housing renovations using natural building methods. This experience sparked a deep and lasting interest in sustainable building, which she further developed through hands-on carpentry work.

From playground construction to traditional timber framing and parquet flooring, Maggie brings a rich blend of practical, on-site experience and technical insight to her role—bridging the gap between sustainable design and real-world buildability.
