Meet Michael

Michael Russell is Joint Managing Director at Russwood, with extensive experience in timber procurement, product sourcing, and end-to-end project delivery. Over the course of his career, Michael has worked on a wide range of projects—both large and small—gaining valuable insight into timber specification, performance, and supply chain management.

He is responsible for overseeing the procurement of Russwood’s timber, making regular visits to supplier sites and production mills across the UK and Europe to ensure quality, sustainability, and consistency remain at the heart of the business.

Michael holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and has recently achieved a qualification in Wood Science and Timber Technology, further deepening his already comprehensive knowledge of timber as a building material. His hands-on approach makes him an integral part of Russwood’s continued success.
