Timber Detailing Masterclass
Join Russwood for two upcoming Timber Detailing Masterclasses designed for architects and specifiers looking to improve detailing confidence and avoid common on-site issues.
Delivered as interactive, in-person workshops, we’ll guide you through real-world timber detailing challenges and solutions, from fixing techniques to specification advice, all informed by years of in-house testing and on-site experience. Lunch will be provided.

Visit Russwood’s Production Facilities with Glasgow Institute of Architects – Wednesday 26th August 2026
Join the GIA on a visit to the Russwood Production and Display Facility in Newtonmore.
Discover what goes on behind-the-scenes at Russwood’s state-of-the-art production facilities at our Newtonmore headquarters. You’ll visit our sawmill, planing mill, paint-line and drying shed to see the whole process of producing our timber products from sourcing and grading through to machining and finishing.
You’ll also see the finished products up close with a tour of our cladding and decking display area and flooring and interior cladding showroom.

Russwood is proud to sponsor RIAS Live 2026, the largest annual gathering of architects in Scotland, taking place on Friday 30th October at Glasgow City Chambers.
This year’s theme, ‘Renewal by Design’, will explore how an open and thriving architectural profession can help build a fairer Scotland that works for all. Through discussions on education, planning, heritage, infrastructure, transport and housing, the conference will examine the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the built environment.
