Since 1990, we’ve spent decades refining our products, growing our expertise and helping more people design and build with timber.

Today marks a new chapter for Russwood. Through a brand-new website and brand film, we’ve refreshed the way we tell our story to better express who we are, what we believe in and where we’re heading.

What matters most, though, hasn’t changed. We’ve spent decades obsessing over how to make our cladding, flooring and decking even better. From our headquarters in Newtonmore, Scotland, we continue to invest in research, product testing and technical expertise to help architects, designers, contractors and self-builders create beautiful, sustainable buildings that stand the test of time.

Building tomorrow in timber

While our look has evolved, our values haven’t.

At the heart of this next chapter is a simple belief: building tomorrow in timber.

It reflects why we exist, to inspire and enable timber-first design, and our belief that timber has an essential role to play in creating a more beautiful, sustainable built environment.

To us, timber-first construction means considering timber from the earliest stages of a project, rather than defaulting to more carbon-intensive materials. It reduces embodied carbon and promotes circular economy thinking.

We’re lucky to work with a natural, renewable material, and we’re passionate about helping more people design and build with timber.

Designed with our customers in mind

Our new website has been designed to make it easier to discover products, compare options, access technical information and find inspiration for your next project. For architects and specifiers, that means quicker access to technical datasheets, CPD’s, and specification comparisons. Whether you’re specifying a commercial project, designing a home or considering timber for the first time, we hope it makes your journey simpler.

Watch our new film

When we set out to create our new website, we knew we wanted to tell the Russwood story in a way that truly reflected who we are.

Filmed at our headquarters in Newtonmore, the film celebrates our heritage, our people and the Highland landscape that has shaped us. It offers a glimpse into the expertise, care and passion behind everything we do.

While high-quality timber products are at the heart of our business, Russwood has always been about more than supplying timber. We’re about building lasting relationships, sharing knowledge and championing timber-first design.

Looking ahead

The business we’re in means we’re inextricably linked with nature and the built environment. We want to be a force for good and leave both in a better state for future generations. That’s why we’re so passionate about timber-first design, and why we’ll continue investing in our products, our expertise and the support we provide.

This new chapter reflects the Russwood we’ve become while staying true to the values that have guided us since 1990.

We’re incredibly proud to share it with you.

Welcome to the next chapter
