Coatings
Lunawood Collection is suitable for factory coating with our range of water-based oils systems. Paint application is possible onsite only, however Lunawood Collection is most commonly left uncoated to weather to a beautiful silver colour.

These exterior and interior cladding boards are made from the heartwood of Nordic pine and spruce trees grown in PEFC-certified forests in Finland. The timber is then thermally modified to create a resin-free final product. It has prominent figuring, with visible round and splay knots that are made structurally sound during production.
The stability of Lunawood is one of its key advantages. Once it has been treated with heat and steam, there is significantly less swelling and shrinking, meaning dimensional movement is reduced by up to 50%. In fact, the Lunawood Collection has a durability of Class 2 BS EN 350 — the same as oak.
We keep a stock of Lunawood external and internal cladding, making it ideal for projects that need a quick turnaround.

Lunawood exterior cladding
The external cladding boards come in tongue-and-groove and open rainscreen profiles. Lunawood cladding is most commonly left uncoated to weather to a beautiful silver colour, but it can also be factory-coated with Woca oil.
Lunawood interior cladding
Lunawood interior cladding is ideal for creating contemporary interior spaces. Its charm lies in its natural, organic look, uniform golden-brown colour and unique butterfly knots. It comes in a range of versatile tongue-and-groove profiles.
Finishes
Lunawood Collection can be supplied with a smooth, planed surface or can be brushed to provide a beautifully textured finish.

Planed
Planed boards are run through our planing mill to create a smooth, dressed finish.

Brushed
To create this effect, wire brushes are used to pull out the softer spring wood, exposing the harder summer wood, thus accentuating the grain and creating a beautifully textured surface.
