A solid choice: naturally
Solid wood flooring is an ideal choice for high-traffic areas in both domestic and commercial projects. Additionally, European solid oak floor boards are sustainably sourced before being selected and graded by hand ensuring consistent quality across all our flooring ranges.
A practical solution
Russwood’s solid oak boards are 20mm thick and are suitable for many project types. The thickness of the boards enables them to be fixed directly onto battens, making solid boards a practical and easy-to-install choice. Leftover boards can be used up in creative ways to save them going to waste, from stair treads and risers to shelving and furniture.
Durable & long-lasting
A well-maintained solid floor will last a lifetime. Small marks, scratches and dents are inevitable with any wooden floor, even adding character and depth. If your floor gets to the stage where you think it needs reviving, solid Oak can be sanded, re-oiled and brought back to life. This will remove any surface marks and give your Oak flooring a fresh new look.
Solid wood, straight from the tree
Cut from a single piece of wood, solid oak has a luxurious feel and character with all Russwood boards selected and graded by hand to ensure consistent quality. Engineered flooring will have around 6 boards that are identical due to being cut from the same lamella. On the other hand, all solid flooring boards are totally unique, adding to the natural charm of the product.
