Royal London Group is well known for bucking the trend of staid financial services companies, with a quirky and distinctly British style and brand personality. When Form Design Consultants were tasked with developing a suite of flexible workspaces in an industrial-style unit, this brand was a guiding principle.
Irregular colours and textures
Designed to encourage creative thinking and collaboration, the workspaces combine exposed pipework, central beams and rough finishes with warm tactile wooden cladding, brightly coloured directional lighting and fun oversized artwork. The client selected Russwood Weather Mixed Species internal cladding, attracted by the irregular colours and textures, which provide a robust industrial style for the columns punctuating main circulation routes. The random nature of the product means that no two installations will be the same, and as an upcycled product it add environmental kudos to builds.
