Join us for our open day
Our open day is a chance to experience firsthand what happens behind the scenes at one of Badenoch and Strathspey’s largest employers. Visitors often tell us, “We never realised just how much happens here!” From coating timber boards to loading lorries destined for the South of England, every day at Russwood is dynamic and rewarding—and you could be part of it.
A commitment to progress
Our Newtonmore production facilities have evolved hugely since we first set up business here in 1990. Over the past eight years, in particular, Russwood has continually invested in our site, making significant improvements to infrastructure and processes to ensure we deliver exceptional value to our customers. There has not been a single year without progress, whether through building works or critical updates that enhance our operations.
We also partner with leading agencies and organisations to adopt best practices in business and timber production. Recently, myself and Laura, our Continuous Improvement Lead visited a leading company known for their Continuous Improvement practices to learn proven methods for driving improvement. Rather than reinventing the wheel, we embrace learning from others and building strong relationships—just as we do with our customers.

At Russwood, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We’ve recently introduced a new approach to employment contracts, including competitive wage improvements that reflect our team’s hard work and dedication. We’re proud of the Russwood Team and their shared drive to improve and deliver better outcomes for our customers.
