Accoya® modified wood cladding

Accoya®

With its unrivalled performance benefits, Accoya® is ideal for projects where a flawless painted finish and clean, crisp lines are desired. Accoya® is created by modifying Radiata Pine, through the use of a non-toxic acetylation process. This uniformly attractive, consistently durable and dimensionally stable product is fully sustainable and will last a lifetime. In addition to standard Accoya®, we offer Accoya Color Grey, a distinct product manufactured to achieve a consistent grey colour throughout the board. While performance remains the same, Accoya Color Grey provides a uniform grey appearance from day one, removing the need to rely on natural weathering to achieve this look.

What is the difference between Accoya® and Accoya Color Grey?

Accoya® and Accoya Color Grey offer the same performance benefits, including durability, stability and long service life.

The key difference is appearance. Standard Accoya has a pale, natural tone that will weather over time to silver/grey and is generally supplied factory-coated with opaque or translucent paint.

Accoya Color Grey is pigmented with colour throughout the board, providing a consistent grey appearance from installation without the need for coatings or reliance on natural weathering. Ideal for projects where a consistent grey finish is desired from the outset, without ongoing maintenance or coating requirements.
